Goodmoves is a new careers hub run by and for the voluntary and local third sector in England, Scotland and Wales. It is is run by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations in association with WCVA, Wales Council for Voluntary Action, the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action, The Big Issue in Scotland, The Big Issue in Wales and The Big Issue in the North.
Third sector employers are invited to use the site to advertise vacancies and those looking for a new role can sign up to receive Job Alerts
Training
New qualification for charity and public sector managers
A university approved higher education certificate in leadership and management is now available to public and voluntary sector managers through the Centre for Strategy and Communication, a training and management consultancy for the voluntary and public sector.
The qualification, endorsed by Royal Holloway, University for London, was launched by the Centre and Royal Holloway at the House of Lords in February.
